   I just read the first two episodes. I liked them, but I liked the second a lot more than the first — it was not only more interesting to me, but I actually thought the drawing was better, too. And since I mistakenly read them out of order (you might want to note that it’s the latest strip at the top of the page — unless you did and I missed it), it also seemed a bit redundant.

   Two minor comments. First, I found the photo of the books a bit jarring, since it was a photo admist all of the two-color drawings. Interestingly, I didn’t find the movie still at all jarring. I’d suggest toning it down somehow — you could put it in black & white, but less radical solutions might work too. You could simply lessen the contrast a bit, or wash the color out a little. One trick I’ve used in occational situations is the photoshop watercolor filter — it makes things just “cartoony” enough to pass.

   Second, the picture was so big it barely fit on my screen — but the 3×2 format didn’t seem essential. Have you considered 2×3, or just making it smaller, or maybe scaled to the window, or something?

   Oh, and I love the basic idea — the following Ovid. It looks great — I look forward to reading the entire thing!
