Hi,
You should only look for Manuscript Press volumes 1937, 1938 & 1939.
Only these reprint books are not only the best reprint but in ORIGINAL size.
http://www.io.com/~norwoodr/order.htm

Nostalgia Press that's not what you looking for.. the quality is very poor and just in normal size books. Yes hardcovers, but still. Better alternative is Fantagraphics. No hardcovers, but bigger then Nostalgia, much much smaller then Manuscript Press. Fantagraphics is published in volumes 1 till 50 in English. A publisher in Europe publish every year in german the latest version (same quality as fantagraphics). version 75 is just in the books store.

check as well the side of King Features. From day1 then published non stop every sunday 1 page of Prince Valiant. And they publish still every week and the latest page (last sunday!) is free to download from http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/pvaliant/about.htm. yes, this is not Hal Foster anymore, nor John Cullen Murphy but their successor Gary Gianni.

please check as well this webside with interesting PV background and book information.

good luck

My local library has volumes 1 and 3 of the 4-volume Nostalgia Press hardcover Prince Valiant series, published in 1974. I would really love to get the other two volumes. Can someone give me a lead besides ebay?

Have you ever seen the Nostalgia Press collections of Prince Valiant from the mid-70s? There were I think 4 volumes published, and they're basically, oversized, full color hardcovers. Mot quite original size, but larger than the Fantagraphics collections. They're pretty nice, but hard to find, esp. the 3rd and 4th volumes. If you keep an eye out, though they do show up on EBay from time to time, but they're not cheap. I have the first 2 volumes which I happened upon in a used bookstore a few years ago. They're a little beaten up, but the pages are in great shape. I think Nostalgia also reprinted a couple volumes of Raymond's Flash Gordon, but I've never seen them.
