Long Form Serialization
My latest Panels & Pictures is up at ComixTalk (formerly Comixpedia), entitled Long Form Serialization. In it I discuss a few examples of long form narrative webcomics and how their serialization works for or against the reading experience.
I’ll add here that in my own webcomic, Things Change (by the way, it’s in a new extra weird story right now), I write each page to try to make it partially independent, so the twice weekly serialized reading is more satisfying. I’m not sure how successful I am, but I try.
