1) I just finished up what I think is a pretty interesting section of my webcomic Things Change. Over the course of many pages I doubled the number of panels on each page, starting with one panel. Admittedly I cheated a lot with single images divided up into tons of small panels, but I’m overall happy with how it turned out. The section starts here.
2) Wowio Books offers free downloadable books. A lot of crap, but Checker has added a ton of their catalog into the system. You can read (for free) Flash Gordon, Steve Canyon, various Winsor McCay books, and more. They’ve basically divided up their larger volumes into smaller sections.
(I’m hoping to get some more posting done next week, I’ve got tons of stuff to write about.)
