I enjoyed reading your blog, but mainly I have a question for Flash Gordon fans. Anyone know where I can find copies of the ones that dealt with "The Elvins"? My mom saved a few - about wartime - they look like Raymond's drawings. I have one that says "I'm not an Elvin - they're a strange race that live on a island. They made me their king." Of course since my name is Elvin I would love to see these and have copies of them. Any ideas? How would I know what time frame? How do you buy them (without spending a fortune - just a copy is fine). Thanks for any help.

Derik-

So you think black and white Alex Raymond strips would look good? Have you seen the Nostalgia Press editions?

Beautiful. They are simply beautiful. You can see Raymond's every line. I assume he used a brush almost exclusively.

by the way, this is quite a collection of writings you have here...!
