I simply like the stories Bendis produced. His work on Daredevil may disappoint action fans, but it contemplated some of the problems with being a "superhero" (try vigilante!). And I love Maleev's style. I definitely recommend these books, not to mention Born Again! I've only read one other Miller story: The Man Without Fear, which I thought was also good.
