		<description>Thanks for posting these images!!! I stumbled across this post after doing a Decarlo search. Interesting observations too. The fabric wrinkles in that last panel are really nice - and I wouldn't have noticed otherwise. I do have to say though, that as far as the characters go - I don't think the last panel is drawn by Dan Decarlo, whereas the second to last looks like it is. Veronica's face has that sort of flatness to it you don't normally see when Decarlo does the illustrations - and there are those harsh angles in the joints. I wonder if archie comics employed a background artist - because you're right - those two BGs do look like they're by the same person. There definitely needs to be more information out there! Enjoyed reading your blog.</description>
