I really like this one. Another appropriation comic. Text through Google Books, images from Jesse Marsh’s Tarzan (specifically images from Tarzan: The Jesse Marsh Years v.3 (Dark Horse, 2009).

Are you composing the words at all? They’re really good. and the images work well too.
Dang, I’m all fired up to do a 30 days of comics myself!
I am composing the words in the sense that I am taking a phrase here and a phrase there (based on searching for a word or phrase in Google Books).
My act is in the selection and order. Each panel’s words are from a separate source.
In the case of this one, it is probably as much an act of composition as any other writing (since most of these phrases are particularly short and meaningless on their own).
You should do 30 comics, Warren. The world needs more comics from you!
Thanks Derek, that’s really nice. I’m working on some! Is this 30 day thing related to NaNoWriMo? I’m seeing it in other places too (on a chiptunes site I’ve been haunting they’re doing 30 songs this month).
It’s my unofficial comics version of NaNoWriMo. I wanted to do something that would get me creating without getting caught up in what I was going to do.
