About Madinkbeard
I started MadInkBeard (the title is an anagram of my name) a few years ago for some purpose that I have forgotten. Over time pages on Kenneth Rexroth, David Markson, the Oulipo, and the Buffy Bibliography were added. In April of 2004 I started a blog for the purposes of writing about “constraint” and the Oulipo.
The blog has grown in scope over its life, and it now focuses on comics. I publish a twice weekly webcomic called Things Change, and write regular reviews and other posts. I’m particularly interested in the formal elements of comics. While I do blog on other topics occasionally, I am mostly focused on comics now.

Derik A Badman is the Digital Services Librarian at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA). He is often found reading, writing, or spending endless hours on his Mac. He started blogging in April of 2004 and lives in North Wales, PA with his wife.
