there are pieces by him that are even more obviously comics derived, but I don&#039;t think they&#039;re online anywhere.  If you want, I can email you some scans.  Admittedly, Alechinsky&#039;s main mode of sequential art--one big image on top, a sequence on the bottom--derives mostly from the altarpiece/predella model.  The same is true of his center/periphery mode.  In that mode, I really love his &quot;Central Park&quot; of 1965.</description>
