With YKK I got to read many volumes of it at once, which allowed a better idea of it as a whole, with Aria I got very little.

I do like the extra slow pace of YKK though, and I guess I’m just not such a big fan of the slick style Amano uses. I like my art a little crude.

YKK is lovely, of course, but maybe a bit TOO slow-paced. It almost becomes boring after a bit. As for the artwork, that of YKK isn’t that great. In fact, when I first began reading it, I was shocked by the crudeness. (It grew on me, though.) The artwork of ARIA is much more detailed. Compare a picture in ARIA to a photograph of Venice and you will see what pains Kozue Amano really went to. In the whole, ARIA is a better read. Of course, that’s just my opinion.
